July 2nd 2008: Been extremely busy with several projects over the last three months. I am behind with several projects, including updating the EaglesMax website. If there is anything that people feel a need to see updated on the website, please send me a note.

July 2nd 2008: Not really news, but I will be going out this weekend in a search for Major Raymond Collishaw's grave. He was Canada's second highest ranking fighter pilots with 60 kills to his credit during WWI. He is buried in Capilano Cemetery in North Vancouver, which is not that far from where I live; he died in September 1976. I have been trying to locate his grave after I learned that he was buried somewhere in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I will post photos if my search proves successful.

April 23rd 2008: Added two more USA based gaming groups to the squadron page!

April 15th 2008: New Photos in the Photo Gallery. Uploaded 7 photos of Craig Zomar's Canvas Eagle campaign game. This campaign game will run from April 2008 till March 2009 at the Trumpeter Club. The campaign will terminate at the Trumpeter Club convention (Trumpeter Salute 2009). Prizes will be awarded at Trumpeter Salute 2009 including giving the Blue Max medal to the pilot with the highest kill score!

March 15th 2008: New WWI Trench Game Mats. Hotz Mats (Hotz ArtWorks) new WWI air combat game mats are revealed for the first time at Trumpeter Salute 2008. Mats shown were Trench Game Mats with 5 inch hexes, which will be available for purchase soon; Trench Game Mats with 3 inch hexes will also be released soon. Mats will be available with roads and a village as possible "custom" additions to the game mats if the customer wishes to have these features on their game mats.

Oct 9th 2007: Updated the Squadrons Page. If you want your gaming group listed here, send us an email note.

February 21st 2007: Uploaded Lisa Smedman's Campaign Files (MS Word files) to the PDF Components download page.

February 17th 2007: Had a flood of emails from people from all over the world, which shows that Blue Max/Canvas Eagles is a popular game. I had a number of people send in error notes, and after a day of making fixes, I think all aircraft charts now download OK. I also made cosmetic changes because there were reports that in certain browsers, things looked odd -- I think I fixed all these.

February 11th 2007: The official uploading of the first generation of the Blue Max/Canvas Eagles website. Once the bugs have been worked out, this website will be moved to its own domain (www.eaglesmax.com). Even the creation of this website, in its crude format took a few hours to put together. In the near future I will updating all aircraft charts and, with Phil Hall, will be updating the rules book, including more detail campaign rules, etc., and eventually reissuing the rules in PDF or hard copy format (undecided at this time).

Note: First aircraft chart updated is the SPAD A2 aircraft chart.

Projected Updating:
1) Updating Chits/Markers
2) Updating rules
3) Adding new Aircraft Charts to the game
4) Updating and correcting existing aircraft charts
5) Updating this website with photos, news, PDF files, etc.
6) Probably more... there always is
